Texas March For Heroes -Walking across the great state of Texas

"Texas March for Heroes – Expressing Our Gratitude, One Mile at a Time." This walk through multiple cities begins at 7:00 AM on March 1, 2026, at Alamo Plaza in San Antonio and concluding on March 20, 2026 at the Humble Civic Center in Humble. A team of seven committed veterans and volunteers will march across Texas, starting in San Antonio and heading to Houston, passing through Austin, Waco, Dallas, and College Station, and finishing in Humble, with stops at military bases along the way to honor our service members. In 2024, 1,837 veterans in Texas were experiencing homelessness.

Across the nation, over 32,882 veterans lack shelter, and approximately 1.5 million veterans are deemed "at risk" of homelessness, residing in their vehicles or temporarily with friends or family. Our aim is to raise $1 million to offer direct assistance to homeless veterans in Texas. However, we can't achieve this alone.…
